• Beverly Soasey's art expresses her life - her beliefs, her passions, and her personal truths. Her illustrative work for books is lush and colorful, but it is her mixed media - assemblage that reflect her truest artistic voice. She combines painting, drawing, collage and found objects, to tell a story. Working from a studio full of hundreds of treasures - bird wings, metal scraps, vintage photos and collectibles - Soasey finds inspiration for her art. Soasey's uniquely personal work, exhibited in Oregon and across the country, reflect her passion for travel and collecting. Her work can also be seen at the Opus6ix Gallery, 22 W 7th Ave in Eugene.
