• Kathy has been painting professionally for 23 years and taught oil painting before retiring to the Oregon Coast. Kathy enjoys painting in oils with an eye for detail. Her paintings depict Oregon mountains, forests, rivers, flowers, and of course the Oregon Coast. Hiking and traveling the back roads of Oregon is where most of her inspiration comes from. Kathy paints on linen canvas and is glad to take commissions; she also offers Fine Quality Art prints and boxed note cards. Original oil paintings can be seen in her home gallery and studio on the beach between Waldport and Yachats. Directions: On Hwy 101, 3 miles south of Waldport just past mile post 159; 6 miles north of Yachats just past Beachside State Park to 2nd house on beach, a gray two-story house.
