• Buzz Williams started the first Alder house Glass studio in 1968; today he still works at Alder House III Glassblowing, along with his wife Anne Williams and other craftspeople. You can watch the artists practice the 2000 year-old art of turning molten glass into beautiful objects. The studio creates glass floats, weights, bowls, vases, oil lamps, decanters and delicate glass Witch Balls. Alder House III is located near Salishan Lodge, a celebrated spa and golf resort. Directions: Take the first road north of Salishan and head east on Immonen Rd 3/4 miles. Immonen Rd is also 1/2 miles south of the Siletz River bridge.
