• Mark’s studio is set on a five acre working family farm. The simple farm life is a constant inspiration for his sculpture, which is influenced by traditional European woodcarving, the ancient art of stone sculpture, and the lost wax method of bronze casting. His work includes landscape murals, representational figure work and wildlife sculpture, and a burgeoning collection of garden art. Visitors may have a chance to see a demonstration of age-old sculpting techniques, and are encouraged to wander the farm’s organic gardens, or linger overnight at the adjacent Fox Hollow Valley Bed & Breakfast (see sponsor pages). Directions: From Eugene take Lorane Hwy, turn left on Lower Fox Hollow Rd, go 2.4 miles. Look for the big blue mailbox.
