• The Backstreet Gallery, an artist co-op founded by 20 area artists, displays a wide variety of fine art in a charming older home west of Hwy 101 in Historic Old Town. The Gallery's five rooms of art include oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, basketry, jewelry, and other works. Seasonal art includes hand-crafted Christmas tree ornaments, cards, and art for special occasions. "After-hours" from 5-7 on the last Wed. of each month features live music, wine, and hors d'oeuvres. directions: From Hwy 101 in Florence, turn west at Third and Laurel St.
